Whether you know the rich history of Derry’s Custom House or not, one thing you should know is that since 1876 its been a place where people come together to trade, talk of new worlds and unlock new opportunities.
With its proud situation on Derry’s waterfront, standing next to the much loved Guildhall, The House now continues its position as a place of people, energy, opportunity and experience, bringing people together to share news, stories and celebrations over some of the most exciting food that the city has to offer.
Brought to life by a team including renowned Chef Barry O’Brien, The House is home to 3 dining rooms: Entrada, Seomra and The Lounge, each with its own distinct style and flavour, but all sharing the same mission to deliver deliciously simple food with a twist in a relaxed and stylish setting.
And the vision for The House? In the words of Barry himself “We want to bring the city a food offer that is familiar but with an exciting edge. The Spanish cooking style of Entrada, the rotisserie offer of Seomra and the lounge style charcuterie and light bite offer of The Lounge, come together to offer our clients something truly different. With great food, great service and beautiful views of the river – there’s nowhere else quite like The House”.
