Do you want to join the team at The House?

Entrada is hiring, and we are looking for a bar manager, a sous chef and waiting staff to join us in our bustling restaurant, which opens weekly from Wednesday to Sunday. 

Bar Manager

The bar manager should have at least two to three years experience in a bar role within the hospitality sector, and be able to cover duty manager shifts, when required. 

Other essential criteria include: The candidate must be educated to GCSE or equivalent level, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills,  can effectively delegate responsibilities and have excellent customer care. The candidate must have an extensive working knowledge of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and also be well motivated, conscientious and able to work on their own initiative. They must be able to demonstrate excellent operational, organisational, and people management skills 

Desirable criteria includes a WSET Level 2 qualification and experience in stock and cellar management and ordering for multi-outlet operations.

Sous Chef

The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef with the overall running of the kitchen. They will take direction from department managers and to assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards, and adhere to HACCP regulations at all times. They will also be expected to support their fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.

Essential criteria include: Previous experience working within restaurants or hotels. The candidate should have a passion for, and a genuine interest in food. They should have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members, and also be a team player. They should be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen, and also have a good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.

Waiting staff

We are on the hunt for waiting staff, who have experience working in the hospitality industry in a customer facing role. They must be friendly and welcoming, have excellent communication skills as well as a 'can do' attitude. The candidate should also be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink.
